Gahanna Residents in Need
Nice to meet you!
What we’re all about.

The Gahanna food pantry began in 1972 with the help of the local Rotary, Rev. Roger Wagner, and the Gahanna Ministerial Association. In 1978, Sally and Jim Williams took the pantry over personally in their home, later moving to Mifflin Presbyterian Church in 1979. In 1999, the food pantry officially became GRIN with the support of the community.

Today, GRIN is located at 165 Granville Street, Gahanna, Ohio, and is more than just a food pantry. GRIN is a community-wide, faith-based, 501(c)3 organization committed to alleviating hunger in the Gahanna-Jefferson school district and 43230 zip code areas. GRIN offers many families in the community a “hand-up” with food, diapers, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items through the walk-in food pantry. GRIN also provides utility assistance, school supplies, summer lunches, weekend snack packs for children, and holiday assistance to those in need throughout the community.

Thank you. We rely on your support.
We don’t do it alone.
Meet our partners.

It’s giving season once again in Gahanna — a time when individuals, communities, and organizations come together with a commitment to open their hearts to help those in need. And it’s in this spirit of sharing that some of Gahanna’s non-profits have partnered up to create this Gahanna Giving Store.

Whether you give to one organization or all of them equally, know that by contributing to this common cause, you’re making a difference for families in need right here in Gahanna.
