The Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation (GJEF) empowers the future of Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools students by investing in innovative learning experiences. With strong community partnership, we champion programs that spark curiosity, strengthen achievement, and expand opportunities across the District.
In the past year, GJEF awarded $145,108 in classroom grants and educational initiatives, funded $18,000 in communication boards for all GJPS elementary schools and the preschool, and distributed $102,450 in student scholarships. Funds from this campaign will support the Harvey Mast Care for Kids Fund, providing clothing and essential personal-care items to students in need, and enhance our GEAR Gardens project, where GJPS interns gain hands-on employability and adult-readiness skills.
